As a personal injury attorney, Jacob T. Inkelaar brings justice and relief to individuals and families throughout Tampa Bay. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish and Portuguese. He believes that language should never be a barrier to getting fair legal representation.
Jacob believes that his innovative and creative focus on a variety of personal injury cases, such as car accidents, truck accidents, and boat accidents, sets him apart from other personal injury attorneys.
Prior to opening Inkelaar Law’s Tampa office with his father, Jacob advocated for clients in personal injury, criminal law, and family law cases while at a local Tampa firm.
Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University, Dwayne O’ Andreas School of Law. While attending law school he studied trademark and copyright law. He was an active member of the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Society. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for his Bachelor of Arts in Music.
When not representing clients, Jacob volunteers for the Developmental Committee with the Tampa Bay Master Chorale and as the Friendship Walk Chair for Best Buddies International.
He lives with his wife Kristen, an Assistant Attorney General with the State of Florida, and their daughter, Penelope. He loves going to the beach with his family and watching soccer, especially the Orlando City Soccer Club.
