Attorney Shannon Inkelaar Acton is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She aims to be the advocating voice for each of her clients, regardless of any language barrier.
Shannon is driven by her passion for the law and problem solving. She believes in providing personalized representation for her clients. As each case has its differences, Shannon is motivated to help each client become reasonably compensated for their loss. Primarily focusing on Personal Injury, she has gained experience and the ability to strategize when fighting against the big insurance companies.
Shannon has a diverse educational and professional background. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she earned two degrees at Union College – Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2014. She studied both Spanish and Business Administration, Marketing. During her time spent at Union College, she was an active member of the Student Administration and completed internships with the Tampa Bay Lightning (NHL) and Kansas City Chiefs (NFL). After graduating from college, she worked at a large law firm in Kansas City, MO, in the Intellectual Property Department. It was at that point she made a goal to become an attorney. In 2018, Shannon earned her Juris Doctor at Florida Coastal School of Law, and is licensed to practice in both Nebraska and Florida.
Outside of helping her clients, Shannon enjoys bike riding, traveling, a good cup of coffee, and going to the farmers market with her husband and Mini Bernedoodle, George.
